Born and raised in South Philadelphia, I am a Penn State graduate with a Bachelor of Art's Degree in Journalism. Having majored in broadcast journalism, I also obtain a minor in women studies. Through my work experience I developed a passion for communications at a young age.

 

My interest for communications first began while I worked as a waitress during high school and college. I decided to work towards a career in broadcast journalism because not only do I love to talk, I possessed proficient speaking skills and enjoyed writing.

 

I have gained much experience throughout college career, being involved with Penn State's Network Television Organization. Associate Producer and Host of Penn State's HollyWood Now Show, I also participated with the development of the Match Maker Show as well. Penn State has even provided me with the practice of on-air radio experience through Comm.Radio.

 

Having traveled to places around the world, including Sweden, for an 3-week internship with Transderma, a skin care line. I assisted with social media and online promotions, as well as their broadcasting efforts on Swedish and Italian television networks. 

 

I will continue developing my experience at local news businesses to achieve my desired career.
